1. Conductivity and current collection. Graphite bipolar plates can be used as conductive media in battery stacks. They are responsible for connecting individual battery cells in series, collecting current and transmitting it to external circuits. Its high conductivity can ensure efficient output of electrical energy and reduce energy loss.


2. Gas distribution and reactant output. Fine flow channels are usually made on the surface of graphite bipolar plates to evenly distribute hydrogen and oxygen, thereby ensuring that the gas is fully diffused to the catalyst layer to participate in the electrochemical reaction.


3. Heat and moisture management. Heat and water are generated when fuel cells are running.
