Application Of Graphite Rods in Electrolyzed Water

The process in which water (H2O) is electrolyzed by direct current to generate hydrogen and oxygen is called electrolyzed water. When current passes through water (H2O), hydrogen gas (H2) is formed by reducing water at the cathode, and oxygen gas (O2) is formed by oxidizing water at the graphite anode. Hydrogen is produced approximately twice as much as oxygen. Water electrolysis is the next generation hydrogen fuel production method to replace hydrogen production by steam reforming.
